One of my favorites across the globe

It's a beach with big waves, walking distance to Walgreens for beer, $4 beach chairs or free if at a hotel, and great food in area. Great spot for kids, couples and large groups.

We were on a cruise ship and our stop in San Juan was suddenly a few hours longer than planned so we decided to go to the beach in the morning in addition to sightseeing in the old town. We didn't know which beach to go to, the taxi driver suggested Condado beach and brought us there. It's only a... More

I expected prettier beaches in Puerto Rico. Condado is a very nice neighborhood but the beaches are sub par.

Nice sandy beach on the ocean side of the island. There are a number of hotels on the Ashford Avenue strip and also public access areas. The tides were high during our stay but the beach and water allows for plenty of fun in the sun.

We decided to come to PR because we had already been to Mexico 3 times, but you cannot compare the ocean in Mexico to the one in Condado Beach in PR, The water is green but not clear like it is in Mexico. There are other parts of the island that are much nicer. If I had to do again,... More

Approximate one mile stretch of beach fronting condos and hotels. We stayed at Marriott which was midpoint in beach.

Nice beach to spend the day on, nice to walk, long open stretch of beach. The beach has hotels all the way down the shoreline. It usually more touristy then locals. But locals will stop but during slower times of the year as well as towards the end of the section of beach is the public beach where locals are.

If you are looking for a beach, you will get what you came to do. It is just that, a beach. The water/waves are really rough so be careful.

Our favorite spot in the San Juan area. Very convenient (walking) to just about anything you could want. And relaxing!
