Great beach to walk, jump waves or enjoy the sun and sand. We spent an afternoon here and loved it. Not a lot of shade unless you want to be back a bit from.the sand and water so plan accordingly.

The beaches on Vieques are amazing. It’s hard to pick just one to review, and you can't go wrong on the South Shore. This beach has beautiful, sandy shores and amazingly clear water. We were even lucky enough to get a picnic shelter. We found...More

We went on a Friday and it was so beautiful. There was one other couple on the beach with me and my three friends for about 45 minutes. Take the drive. You won't regret it!

Very Cool Beach! Plenty of space and shade or sunny spots. Great views and a cool cave to explore! Great for groups and off the beaten path.

Friend and I visited in mid-Feb. The beach was beautiful to lay on and look around, but -- maybe it was just an off day -- there wasn't anything to look at when snorkeling, so we moved on to another location. The Refuge closes at...More

This beach has calm water and is good for swimming except that, on one of the two times we visited, my wife and I were separately bitten by fish. The beach is about a quarter-mile long and good for walking. There is ample parking plus...More

Water was transparent and beautiful despite of rainy weather. When sun picked ocean turned out bright blue. Make sure you have water and food :) we went after Maria and grounds are recovering. Beach was pristine, no people. They had small picnic huts with benches...More

You will need a vehicle or transportation to the beach as it is not in "town" but not necessarily a jeep. There are paved roads right up to the beach.
