This appropriately-named beach, curving like a half moon, is shallow enough to walk out 40 feet.

Beautiful beach and awesome place to relax. The crystal clear waters are calm. You can walk out quite far before getting into the deep; thus, making the beach like a natural salt water pool to enjoy and relax in a fun beach filled day. And...More

Love this beach. Water is shallow and view is beautiful. At end of evening, when most leave, the fish emerge and you can just look down and see them. Even saw a large Ray. Horses wander the beach and a few will eat carrots out...More

Nice beach with clear water. This area does not seem to have a breeze like many of the other beaches but still a cute beach to visit especially if you have young children. There were lots of clear fish to watch swim around you.

This is a really nice beach w/ soft sand and a gently sloping swimming area. My wife & I snorkeled here for probably an hour or so & there really was not much to see. The center of the bay (beyond the swimming area) is...More

Once of the many beaches on Vieques but certainly not the best. If your staying in Esperanza then it's walkable and makes a change from the local beach.

It is a small beach, that forms a half moon shaped bay. No waves at all, really good if you go with small children. The sand was so fine, that there were some people using it as exfoliant.

We noticed this is a great beach for children as it is sheltered and has little waves. Really private if you're looking for a romantic experience. Second clearest water on the Caribbean side.

It's a really nice and a little isolated beach. It's not as big and you might be the only person there if it happens. The water is clean and doesn't go deep very quickly so it's suitable for children. The beach has no shops or...More

Media Luna is a very calm beach. A nice place to bring the family. Lots of shade. Lots of sand. Getting here is a little rough and if it has been raining, it can be muddy. Just about a kilometer passed Sun Bay. I personally...More

You could, but it would be a very unpleasant walk. Rugged road and it's hot. But if you're up for the trek with proper shoes and plenty to drink, you could walk it.
