Easy to get to. I used a publico to Sunbay and walked 15 minutes to get here. Bring water and snacks. Plenty of beach and shade available. Bay is shallow, great for the little ones

Nice protected beach a short walk (15min) past Sun Bay. A Favorite of the area, especially when Sun Bay has the waves up from the wind.

We checked it out but did't stay. It's very scenic but we wanted more of a swimming beach and the water stays shallow for quite a distance. Could be great for family with small children

One of my favorite beaches! It requires a bit of a drive but it is such a beautiful beach. It has tables which makes it ideal for a picnic and swim. Highly recommend exploring the area!

Great pics here and this is a shallow beach with little waves good for children. However, with so many other choices we choose to go somewhere where there was less seagrass.

Not only is Media Luna a great beach for children, it is good for opera singers too. When I was there, a woman with a classically trained voice waded into the surf and starting singing opera aria. Seriously. This island is always a surprise.

Great for small children. Absolutely beautiful! Not a busy beach and the waves are small so it's perfect to wade around in.

great beach to be alone, but not so great for swimming as there is a lot of seaweed. still, good for a walk amongst horses and very picturesque.

I live here and I’ve never done it, but if you have good health, good shoes and are up for some exercise...Go for it! Remember there are no stores or restrooms in Navio or Media Luna! Enjoy!!
