Up in a hill, overlooking the beautiful and humble town of Isabel Segunda in Vieques, there is a modest fort that use to be an observation point to watch for invaders lurking the Island. Nice place to spend at least an hour and take some...More

Great place to learn about Vieques history and the navy military practices on the Island. There are still active bombs in the land and waters!

We love to learn about the places we are visiting and this museum was full of interesting information. My children were fascinated by the map of the bombs on and around the island. The views were great as well.

Upgrading the exhibitions after upgrading the outdoor painting. The museum is the center of Vieques social justice and has a good book store on the resistance and access to local artists and talent.

We visited the museum twice while there and loved the views, and the staff at the museum were so fun and kind! Great place for pictures and history, as well as art.

You don't need to spend a lot of time here, but it is worth seeing some of the history between Vieques and the United States. There is a history between the military and the island similar to the one between the Navy and Culebra that...More
