If you're a rum drinker, and you find yourself in St Lucia, the Roseau Valley Distillery (also known as "St Lucia Distillers") is a must-visit location. Particularly in the United States, the high-quality St Lucia rums from this distillery - Chairman's Reserve, Admiral Rodney and "1931" - are under-marketed and a fantastic value. You'll want to sample these and the... More

We watched a short video, had a quick look around the distillery and then go to taste the products. There was also a shop where you could buy rum. It would have been nice if they had sold other products with their logo.

Myself and my girlfriend enjoyed the distillery. Ive worked at bars for the past 12 years so was very interesting to see the process and the distillery. Nothing too exciting but the rum tasting afterwards was nice. Unfortunately I found St.Lucian rum (even the 1931 and forgotten cask) to not be of the greatest taste or quality

Situated south of Castries, near Marigot bay. The tour, including tasting at the end takes about 30 mins. The is a short film, the history of rum making in St Lucia, and a visit around the distillery. Worth a visit - cost US$10/person - worth booking a time.

Came back from the Pitons and we stopped at the distillery.Visiting the distillery it's worth if it's in your way or you stay somewhere near buy.To drive a few hours just to visit ....not so much. We were the only ones there and after we paid a small fee they send us in the room in which on the huge... More

My girlfriend and I decided to go to the distillery to do some " tasting ". For $4.00 US, we were presented with a variety of different rum and liqueur and we were allowed to drink to our hearts content. The samples were definitely tasty. It was fun. I'm trying to remember how I was able to walk out of... More

See a short film, take a short tour and see the process, drink a dozen kinds of rum drinks. That's it!

Perhaps we shouldn't have been surprised at the unwelcoming reception at the Distillery; their website isn't too easy to navigate and certainly doesn't give off the usual St Lucian welcoming vibe. We'd hired a car (so weren't planning to taste *too* many rums!) but when we arrived at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, we had to wait while the two people... More

Arrived in St Lucia last Friday evening with the intention of visiting the distillery on the way back to the airport last Tuesday. Made arrangements with our driver to pick us up early, take us to the distillery and drop us off at the airport in time for our early evening flight. So using the phone number in my guide... More

Others have reviewed "...stay away..." and they're right for the greater part. The only reason I'd give it an extra point over 'Terrible' would be if you wanted to stock up on some good value rum, the trip and tasting session is worthwhile. If you want a deeper history knowledge of the process etc. don't bother. My husband echoes what... More
