This was our second visit to St Lucia so we looked for something different to do and this is very different. The Hike was advertised as taking between 1 and 3 hours depending on the fitness of those taking part. I was the least fit in our group so everyone had to hike at my pace and the guide gave... More

Nice ride up gondola but less lush than expected and didn't see many birds or animals, or snakes! A lovely peaceful day, but I can see why kids may be bored, unless they do the zip line. Tour guide was very informative and over all very laid back and pleasant visit.

What a waste of time and money. This has got to be the worst trip I have ever been on. It is just a cable car going through a load of trees, there is nothing else to see. You may as well just drive through a wood at home, you will see the same thing - trees!!!

It is pleasing to see that the main areas of rainforest on the island have been carefully protected. We visited two areas of rainforest, and were taken round on prearranged tours by local guides. They were very informative about local trees and birds. There were insects around, and some of us got little bites, but nothing serious. The tours require... More

If you go on a tour of the island then you'll see plenty of it. It adds to the character of the island but when you've seen it once you don't need to see it too ofetn thereafter,

On our taxi tour we drove through the dry forest on one side of the mountain and then entered the very different rain forest, where of course it rained on a sunny day! Interesting to see the lush green vegetation.

You truly DO need a head for heights if using the gondola trip. Nevertheless I did it and whilst its an amazing experience - you really only see trees (very little flowers or fauna). go round the humming bird garden at ground level and also you get visited by the equivalent of British "sparras" in the little cafe as you... This is an excellent place to visit and a great way to see a tropical rainforest from the air: just over one hour for the trip. A quiet journey which takes in the enormity of the forest to see the giant trees and ferns. The return journey provides opportunity to see spectacular views towards the sea, say 30 minutes. The...
