We stopped here on our last day on St Lucia, on the drive back to the airport. We pulled into an empty car park, and we were only visitors around. Entry was EC$20. There was no guide to show us round but we were given...More

It was my husband Sean's 65th birthday whilst we were in St Lucia 2 weeks ago so we wanted to go somewhere special. Thanks to a wonderful Tour organiser called Peppy in our hotel, who knew Impy, the owner of Mamiku Gardens, we had an...More

Our journey started from Rodney Bay with Impy as our hostess----we had a great rambling car conversation about St. Lucia history, economy, politics, and her family's ties to the Mamiku Gardens. Of course the ride from Castries to Mamiku is special through the rainforest, down...More

Lovely tropical gardens run by a very knowledgable family who have been there since the Boer War. We hired a car from the cruise liner port. Undoubtedly the cheapest and easiest way of visiting.

It was a quiet morning when we visited Mamiku Gardens, in fact the young lady in the ticket office was a bit surprised to see us, but nevertheless extremely helpful. We were the only visitors, except for the bird life and the multitude of pre...More

Visited these gardens with a group of walkers two weeks ago and had a great time. The profuse plants and wildlife were knowledgably pointed out and described by our two guides, Gilbert and Gavin, who were always patient and ready with answers to our numerous...More

Having read previous reviews in Jan and Feb this year we headed to Mamiku quite hopeful of an interesting garden and walks. I have to wonder if those people actually went to the place, the closest review to the current state of these gardens was...More
