Amazing music - I sang and danced through every song from start to finish. Everyone there was in great spirits and the rum punch was delicious! Be careful though, it goes down a treat but it's very strong!

don't go too early (7) . Target 8-9 arrival. they have several small restaurant/bars, recommend you eat there vs street vendor. Restaurants have bathrooms.. Slowly tourists start showing up, then later locals. A few craft vendors as well.

it was ok, more like a food festival rather than a street party... taxi will take you and wait for you, you don't need more than 2 hours...maybe its bigger in the summer season?

Whilst the food was good with an excellent selection, couldn't get past the lack of live music. What there was was a very loud mixture of naff Christmas songs and some reasonable club music. Appears to be a good place to get 'Charlie' or 'Bob Marley' as we were offered both! Not a place for kids unless they need an... More

We love the street party and went every Friday during our annual visit to St Lucia, recommend the local food especially at dukes place for fish. Great night out !!

Go there, have a drink or two, enjoy the loud music, eat in one of the restaurants or street food cars and enjoy the evening in a friendly atmosphere, buy some local handmade stuff, support the locals. And be prepared to also meet some europeans :-)

This is a great fun night out for a street party. Beware of the rum punch ...... it has quite a punch. The food is great - all prepared by the villages and all traditional and delicious

We attempted the street party twice, the first time it was washed out by heavy rain. The second time it was okay but nothing fantastic, just a DJ playing Club Ibiza style music with more tourists than locals dancing. Lots of very cheap rum and all types of other alcohol, in fact better choice than our hotel. The food looked... More

We went to the Gros Islet street party with no idea what to expect. It's one strip with locals and tourists milling around, vendors selling fried fish and other foods on the roadside and bars on either side. When we first arrived, we felt a bit odd walking up and down and wondered how we were going to pass the... More

We were so excited to check out the street party but were slightly disappointed it ended up being mostly filled with tourists! The music seemed so fun, and there were so many food and drink vendors to try from which was great. The prices were all very affordable. It would be fun with a large group of friends, but we...
