Fabulous beach

Really quiet, great cafe, shady spots to sit. A 10 minute walk from Anse Chastenet but worth it. Spent a lovely day there.

We stayed in Soufrier village and read quite a few reviews about this beach before going. It seemed to us after our visit that some of the reviews gave a weird impressionof the place. We had our own car so we drove up the road that starts behind humming bird resort. It is a very rough road with not enough... More

You need to drive to Anse Chastanet which can be a fairly rough and slow road, and that beach is quite nice in itself (however can get very busy). From the beach walk north about 10min and you'll see it. Fairly quiet, good food and drinks and be sure to try the banana ketchup. We snorkeled around which was nice... More

North of Soufriere, there are another 2 beaches: Anse Chastenet Beach and Anse Mamin Beach. You can walk or swimming from Anse Chastenet Beach to Anse Mamin Beach. This is a good snorkeling spot, but you can not see the pitons, because they are blocked by a small hill. I have created a video for all the beaches around Soufriere... More

My wife and I went in the morning on a Tuesday and practically had the whole beach to ourselves. There is not a dock here, so the excursion boats with other tourists and the like don't directly come to this beach. It was very quiet and peaceful. To get here, just walk along the pathway north from Anse Chastanet beach.... More

This beach was perfect: water was clear, beach bar was amazing and the staff were so accommodating! The beach burger is the best burger I have had! The snorkeling was right off the beach and the breeze was just perfect. We spent time reading and just relaxing here!

This place is like a version of Gilligan's Island.. I loved the fact that it was off the beaten track but once you arrived the thatched roofs and chairs/bar were the perfect backdrop for the day... I heard about these burgers that they make right on the beach and I had to try one! I am not a burger girl... More

We hiked throughout the park and the view from the top of Fort Rodney is breathtaking. It took us about 90 minutes to explore the park.

We had our own vehicle and ventured out on the road everyone says is horrible. It was not the worst road we have traveled so don't be too afraid. It is a short walk to the "black sand" beach and very worth the time. We grabbed a table for lunch and then went snorkeling the outcrop of rocks. Both were... More
