We arrived as soon as they opened and got a great photo of the falls. Also later in the day when everyone has to be back on their cruise ship works as well. The botanical gardens (which are wonderful!) are part of the tour as...More

The waterfall and the entire area is just gorgeous but we could not bathe in the waterfall's pool nor the rivers, which was very disappointing as that is what we were anticipating. They never advertised it like that so it soured our experience.

This is part of the Botanical garden tour. Quite crowded, difficult to get a decent shot of the falls. Suggest getting there early.

Quite a nice walk thru the garden with Alexander AKA Internet man. He knew everything about the plants we saw and took us to see the magnificent Diamond Falls. You can't get into the pool but is quite a sight!

Particularly if you have just come from the volcano mud bath this is great for washing away the mud and any hangover. Very cheap entry but slightly remote so use a taxi or vehicle to get there.

It's a beautiful walk through the gardens. We did not take a guided tour but it's easy to get around. The falls are just beautiful and worth going to.
