Beautiful gardens but a tour guide is helpful

My husband and I are normally not very interested in learning about plants but our guide Alex was wonderful. He explained all the plants but often had funny comments and kept the group engrossed. The plants were beautiful! We found ourselves trying to identify plants on the rest of our trip. Would highly recommend seeing the gardens.

On a private tour, we had 1/2 hour to walk through these gardens. There are some beautiful blooms. I took a lot of pictures and didn't have time to see the waterfall. There is a small gift shop back aways and they sell sodas (not sure what else). If you like beautiful different blooms, you would like this. It's not... More

I wouldn't have gone massively out my way to visit the place, but it's a very pretty walk for an hour or so, and if you're lucky you'll catch a hummingbird. EC$18 feels reasonable value for a very pleasant hour amongst the flowers and waterfall.mineral bath is extra which we didn't do. Best combined with other attractions in the area

I guess I have been spoiled with seeing stunning waterfalls in my life.... this wasn't one of them. It's beautiful of course, but like every other waterfall. Too bad you can't swim in it. The gardens are beautiful. Hot baths were.... nothing special. The staff wasn't friendly. DO NOT do the private baths. They were terrifying looking - Small tiled... More

We liked the garden for it's relaxing experience but have been to better. On our trip we also flew to Martinique for a couple days and the garden there is far superior to this. Take one of the free guided tours and tip after. You'll learn more than waking through yourself.

Very easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Purchase the private mineral baths. For an extra dollar$ well worth it. We walked through without a guide. If a hot day that's what you want to do. Beautiful tropical gardens with plenty of hummingbirds. Walk through to the falls which were small but very colorful with the iron deposits. Then onto... More

The trees, plants and flowers were gorgeous, and there were lots of birds with hummingbirds flitting around from plant to plant in different parts of the gardens. Our tour guide Alexander (the Great!) was fabulous, and a wealth of local information in addition to his knowledge of the different plants he told us about. We got some great pictures with... More

For $7 it's a bargain compared with other botanical gardens. Great assortment of plants with lots of labeling. The only thing missing are regular tour guides. At the entrance are several locals offering tour services. There is a sign indicating that you are on your own and the guides are not affiliated with the Gardens. That said, we engaged June... More

Well-maintained, easy trail. Plants clearly identified. The variety of plants and flowers is wonderful -- my camera didn't stop clicking until back to the car. Amazing colors and shapes.

I think is was the wrong time of the year, there wasn't much to see. The flowers weren't in bloom at this time, we did see a few birds that I have never seen before. Watch your step when walking paths they are a little uneven a young girl fell and hurt her hands and knees.
