For those staying at the Divi or the Belair will enjoy the short but invigorating walk up the hill and learn a bit of history and delight in the view of Philisburg and the cruise ships. If one gets up early enough one can watch them come in which never ceases to amaze me of how they dock them. And... More

There is not much to see at the Dutch fort located on the grouinds of Divi Little Bay resort. The best part about it is it;s a great place to view the cruise ships in Great Bay. Very nice in the evening when they leave port and are all lit up. They pass very close. For a real fort go... More

Well worth the walk to the Fort , we stay at the Divi so it is nice to get up early in the AM well before everyone else and head up to enjoy the sunrises. A lot of information and signage to give you a history lesson. Nice that there are benches to sit at and enjoy the views.

From Divi Little Bay, short walk up the hill, learn a little history of the Island, stop at the Infinity Pool, then have a drink at Sea Breeze

My wife and I visited Fort Amsterdam while on our honeymoon. We took a taxi to the fort and the driver explained that we had to walk through divi little hotel and up the mountain. If you just keep going up you will find it. There are also signs to guide you. Once we got to the top the views... More

The fort is being repaired but it is nice to be able to actually walk through it and touch the walls and cannons. Great place for the kids to explore.

A long steep rocky hike to the top but well worth the breath taking view. Located at Divi Little Bay Resort. Take bottled water for the hike. Would not recommend for those that get easily winded, have heart problems, or disabilities. Just beautiful if you can handle the hike.

Great views and historical site. The site is getting a facelift. The hike is moderate and has many cliff edges but it is easy to get to and well marked. Lots of birds and beautiful places to sit and enjoy the views.

We were able to park in the resort parking lot without any issues. Due to visiting during the low season, the fort was under restoration, so we were unable to view closely. The peninsula has beautiful views or the island, the bay, and the pelicans. If you cannot walk up hills, or have mobility issues, this is not for you,... More
