Sarafina's French Bakery was great for lunch, we enjoyed it so much we went back in evening during a power failure on the island to try and get some dinner. They were closing up but we were kind enough to serve us bread, brioches & drinks to go. Great to be able to feel safe eating as have a shellfish... More

On a Friday with little foot traffic there's nothing but stall after stall of the same cheap crap lining the street... not worth our time nor patience-though not as pushy as some vacation destinations... time better spent elsewhere.

Buy at the gift shops!! Everything that the locals are selling is cheaper at the local markets and you don't have do Barter.

THe market offers everything for the visiting shopper. Very colorful and fun to bargain. THere is a stall run buy a very nice French woman and her husband. The tops and pants are well worth the $$$. I always look for them each time I visit.

Nice place to visit, it is small for US or European standards but large for the Islands. Some vendors have quite a few unique items for sale. The rest is the usual stuff; T Shirts, caps etc. A lot of restaurants in the vincinity.

Our visits to St. Martin always include the Marigot market. One stall, especially, Plaisir d'Offrir, is owned by two French ladies who have been there for years. Their jewelry is amazing - original and unique designs and a beautiful variety of stones (including larimar and pearls). I have never had a piece of their jewelry break or chip (even after... More

This is a market that contains many vendor stalls that sell a variety of merchandise including local made clothes and jewelery. Local artists also have beautiful pictures available. A very interesting place to shop at... Well worth a visit.

We went to this big outdoor market twice during our vacation to get souvenirs. Both times we found some great deals. My only complaints would be that most booths have the same things (so there's not much variety) and it's all outside which means it's pretty hot and miserable on most days. You can really make it as long or... More
