Nice place to moor for a night

This was a nice place to stay for the night. The water was calm and the food at the restaurant was excellent.

Once at Cooper Island we found a mooring spot and headed into port. The Cooper Island port was really nice, it had a shop, coffee shop, restaurant and multiple bars. It was starting to rain so we headed to the Rum Bar and found shelter under some umbrellas. The Rum Bar had 300 different kinds of rum; I grabbed a... More

We stopped here for lunch on a boat trip through the BVI’s. The hotel was cool and our food was decent. The beach wasn’t very pretty. I was a little surprised and thought I was missing something.

This was a new spot for us on this trip. The charter company recommended that we arrive by noon in order to get a mooring and they were right! It was a beautiful spot with a sandy bottom and (apparently) new plantings of sea grass. The snorkeling was good and we were greeted by a sea turtle upon our arrival!

We left the Bitter End early so that we could catch one of the last mooring balls on Cooper Island. It will become one of our favorite stops. Outstanding snorkeling along the shoreline to the dingy mooring balls. A wooden boardwalk connects the restaurant to the boutique, rum bar and dive/coffee shop. Inexpensive kayak rentals. The food at the Beach... More

This resort has been totally rebuilt since we were last there and is beautifully set out. Swimming off the boat is lovely and we saw lots of turtles too. There is a restaurant - but book early - we could only get one time for dinner for the next day and that was at 8 pm. There is a lively... More

A 15% gratuity on a bottle of water passing through the bar. Order a ginger beer and you get an 8 ounce cup, mostly ice and about 4 ounces of soda, (no can left for you) for $4.00, plus the added 15% gratuity. When you order dinner, make sure you don't get Dante. He doesn't know how to clear a... More

This may well be be the most enchanting of all the all islands in the BVI. It certainly has the most well thought out architecture and design, not to mention out-of-site gorgeous landscaping, of any island we visited by catamaran. Lunching on over-the-moon fish & chips and grilled Mahi sandwiches while thowing scraps to a rooster who befriended us -... More

We spent one night here on a sailboat. They have plenty of mooring balls on the bay. There is a restaurant, dive shop, coffee bar and nice beach on shore. I am told there is good snorkeling on the island as well. I unfortunately I did not get a chance to try it as it was very windy and the... More

This expanded restaurant adjacent to the Cooper Island resort serves up excellent meals for those who secure one of the nightly moorings. Although the menu is limited, compared to some in the region, every meal in our party was considered to be very good. We eat here every time we are in the BVI.
