If our friends had not highly recommended this beach, I would have been scared away by the pot holes the size of small ponds on the overgrowth drive. But after navigating through the muck, we arrived at a lovely, secluded bay. The beach is rimmed by shady palm trees and the waves are calm without any rocks. There is a... More

Very nice beach. Great water to cool down in. Not very busy or crowded which is very nice if yo want to relax. It is also great for swimming.

We stayed at Frenchmans Villa so it was a 15 minute (and bumpy ride) to Smugglers cove. As soon as you walk through the trail, you walk into a cove with beautiful clear turquoise/blue water, white soft sand, beautiful view of the islands across the waters, and barely anyone on the beach. We brought snorkeling gear to have a relaxing... More

This beach may be a little out of the way for tourists visiting for a short time on the island, but it's worth it. The water was so calm and the beach was quiet and peaceful. Saw some people anchor their boats to a snorkeling spot on the side of the beach. There are no restaurants so bring snacks but... More

Spent the day here. Was excellent. Good snorkeling, great beach, good for kids. Had lunch and drinks at the local (only 1) beach bar .. "Nigel's." The vibe of the bar was excellent, fairly priced and provided local lunch... chicken, fish. Must do.

water is crystal clear and calm not many waves, good for snorkeling. Roads are not paved which makes it a little hard to go in but definitely worth it.

A municipal beach (I think) but don't let that keep you away. It is a beautiful spot and accessible to all levels. The middle is sand all the way out so you can easily wade out to deeper water. On either side are reefs that are great for snorkeling - great for beginners. There is some current so weaker or... More

Beautiful quiet beach that I almost had to myself on a Saturday. Calm water for kids & snorkeling. To get there: follow the road from Long Bay Beach Resort & then turn right on Aramak Lane, and then take a left at the T with Palm Road. That ends at the parking lot. Nigel's has some beach chairs, food, &... More

This was one of the first places we snorkeled in the BVIs. It was somewhat easy to find. The water was crystal clear and we saw a lot of cool fish.
