An exceptional bay and beach area on Tortola's north shore, which is protected by boulder-strewn barrier reefs, making this stretch of water popular for swimming and snorkeling.

We stayed at the Outer Banks which sits above Brewers Bay. The views are stunning, the snorkeling is fantastic, and the beach is beautiful!

This beach was perfect for swimming since there were virtually no waves or rocks. To the left was great reef area with rocky cliffs that was teeming with so many types of fish. Easy to access from the beach and you could go out as...More

Had seen varying reviews of this beach before coming and had not intended to stop, but I'm definitely in the 'pro' camp for this one. Very quiet. (Maybe too much some for some people who want facilities etc). Only two others on the beach when...More

This is such a nice, quiet beach unlike anything I've seen in the US. We arrived around 8:30 AM and were #2 and #3 on the beach. A few more people showed up throughout the day, but not many. Absolutely quiet. Great reefs and fish...More

Worth a visit as its not busy; has lovely sand and clear water which is good for swimming and snorkelling. Couple of beach bars with snacks are open during the day.

I had read some negative reviews (and positive ones) prior to our day trip. I should have listened to the negative ones. The beach does have facilities with a beach bar area. The beach itself is dirty (chickens running all around) and certainly not picturesque....More

Brewer's Bay has a nice beach area with lounge chairs to rent for $5 each. There is a shaded area on the beach for those that don't want to be in the sun. It was very hot when were there...90 degrees so sitting in the...More

We were 2 of 6 people on a large stretch of beach. It was abandoned and we swam in crystal blue waters where pelicans were diving and schools of small fish swam around us.

One of the best day trips we made. Healthier reef with a calm ocean. View is relaxing under the banyon tree and a cold beer.

We only had a few hours on Tortola so chose this beach to spend that time playing with the kids on the beach and to do some snorkelling. Beds are available but no umbrellas for just $3, but be warned they are far from modern...More

Hi. We are travelling on a Disney cruise next April with our two daughters, six and three years old. Do you think Brewers Bay is a good place to go with kids?

Hello, thinking of going there in March. How much was the taxi and how long was drive. Plus is there a lot of taxis for the return. Is it a crowded beach with all the cruiseship coming in ? Did you choose that beach for a specific reason rather than going to Cane Bay ? thank you for your answers
