...but I wouldn't set out if this were my only destination. The distillery isn't running at the moment and there's plenty of hurricane damage but they do have a little hut where you can taste samples for only $1. Not $1 each, $1 for several....More

We had 4 different shots of rum for $1 and ended up buying 2 bottles. We stopped off on a taxi tour here.

This is the oldest working distillery (rum) in the world. Well worth a stop. A few dollars gets you a tour and a tasting of the different rums, from very strong, to easy drinking.

take a look back in time and see how rum has been made on Tortola for centuries. Doesn't cost much and nothing wrong with tasting rum. Four shots for a dollar makes it inexpensive. Check it out if you have the time.

Need to take the tour as it was interesting and educational. Good rum. Has a gift shop where you can by some of the rum. We always bring some small bottles home.

Went to Callwoods which is a neat little stop and we enjoyed ourselves. I am not sure there rum is proofed correctly though because we put a bottle of the 10 year in our freezer and in not too long it became quite slushy. In...More

Very cool place! An historical distillery where rum is made in a big drum over an open fire. We bought shots for the group ($1 for 4) and took bottles home. They even have mini plastic bottles of rum to buy and take home for...More

This 400 year old distillery is a quick stop, but worth the trip. They have four different ages of their pure cane Rum ranging from moonshine - right out of the still - to a sweet sipping oak aged Rum. Their 5-year and 10-year oak...More

400 year old distillery and still makes a good rum. Older rums are smooth and the young rums are rough but, you cant beat four shots of 4 different rums for $1.
