Quaint beach bar

We were shocked to discover Stanley's name has been changed to Tony's...supposedly Stanley's son...even so...never a good idea to change the most recognized name in the BVI's since the 70's. And the 1st time we have ever been when it was closed on a Sunday...such a disappointment.

Went back for sentimental reasons after 40 years. They changed the name to Tony's - because Tony is the son of Stanley. Tony does not know how to run a business - and does not care. Tiny cups for happy hour Painkiller drinks. 2 for $6 but half the size of of the competition. Beware - if you order a... More

My terrible experience was under Tony's . I was there on the 11th March 2016.We were on a sight seeing trip of the island with a lovely taxi driver who stopped there so we could have a drink. I ordered 2 rum punches for my husband and myself. I was served two of the small white papery plastic cups, l... More

I have been to plenty and this spot ranks right up there. One word.... Bushwhacker. It's the perfect antidote for what ails a salty, sandy, sunbaked visitor .These guys really know how to make 'em. They're truly outstanding. Deceptively delicious! Pace yourself!

The food is delicious. All of the meals are prepared by Tony, his wife Maggie and their son, Joel. Whether you order a lobster (OMG delicious) or a burger, you will not be disappointed. We ate here many times during our three week stay in Cane Garden Bay, and we sat on the beach at this location during the day.... More

Two friendly bar tenders run the place. Painkillers are the order of the day and everyone is friendly. Most folks have been coming for years and enjoy a full day at the bar. The burgers are very good with fries and the cost not so much. Happy hour drinks are $6 for 2 cocktails and they do a great job.

My first trip to the BVI's, 1975,I wanted to see the lights of Saint Thomas from THE tire swing on Cane Garden Bay (love JB) made memories that can never be taken. Been back a few times and always made it to Stanley's, but this trip a new name. No problem man Toney's was great good drinks and service, did... More

Away from the rest of the crowds and the cruise ship bunch, this is a great place to hang out. It's a trip to the other side of the island on some pretty intense roads. The beach was clean and the water was awesome. There is food and beverage here that is very good, try something different. If you come... More

We had no idea what to expect at Cane Garden Bay. A beach, lined with small, local restaurants, lounge chairs for rent, umbrellas. Not terribly crowded, we walked a bit, spotted Stanley's Welcome Bar and Restaurant, reviewed the menu and gave it a try. Good food; the color of the atmosphere, the staff and the view were as much fun... More
