Stopped on way to Starfish Point. Had an all fruit smoothie and coconut candy with ginger like you can get in Jamaica. Walked thru gardens, saw some different animals, went thru the pirates cave. Not a bad stop while driving around the island.

We stumbled upon the pirate caves and my son was very excited. It was a little boys dream to see a real pirate cave. It was set up with pirate booty laying on the ground with fake gold and skulls. You actually walk into the cave and it gets quite dark towards the back where the colony of bats live.... More

This place at one time, was pretty amazing. With a small zoo in the back, and the pirate cave. The cave had fun things you would expect to see in a pirate cave, with treasure chests, skulls, fake gold (live bats)! Yes, I know for a fact this place is now closed. But it is up for sell! Im just... More

Yes for all purposes this is closed. However, we went in 2013 and while in need of repair and attention, it does give an account of the history if not only the geography of Grand Cayman. Too bad, we would have gone again.

Stopped by for a visit and the place is not in business anymore. The office had a closed sign on the door, but I called the number and it is out of business.

Although where bad, I still visited pirate cave because I don't always believe them. It was worst the any review. 2 min walk for 10 CU, which showed animal with no food no water and no pleasure. And there is no real cave, it's a oaks from my point of view. I have nothing against zoo and animal in cage... More

First, we (mom, dad and 4 year old) had a great time. Pirates Cave makes no pretense, but the animals were well cared for and the pens were clean. The cave was just spooky enough to be interesting. The grounds were well laid out, the plants had informational markers, and the hand out map was the best brief history of... More

In the ten years or so that we have been diving at the East End of Grand Cayman, we have passed this by and said we needed to stop. This year we finally did. It is also called the Boddentown Zoo which consists of several cages of different kinds of chickens, a couple of goats, and some iguana--in cages and... More

We were driving through, and we found it neat to look through. Yes, it's small and rundown and touristy, but it seemed like an old school roadside attraction, and trying to preserve some of Cayman's history. It was too hot to explore the nature trail, but the caves were cooler. Worth a stop if you're in the area.
