Stopped at Rum Point, a place that is familiar to us, on our ride around the island during our recent visit. While it can get quite crowded when the cruise ship folks are there, it is still a good spot for a refreshing dip in...More

Great place to relax, have a drink, sit by the beach, watch boats arrive to pier. The facility includes bathrooms, fresh water showers, a great bar, and nice restaurant. It is about 1 hour drive time from 7 mile beach or by water taxi.

We stayed in a home on Rum Point and it was great to be able to walk to the beach, rent jet skis and paddle boards. It was a nice quiet spot that felt truly like an island!

This place looks pretty awesome! It's like its own little island community and could have been amazing. However... ...we stopped in briefly to grab one of the frozen drinks their bar is famous for. Immediately upon exiting the car, the foul stench of human waste...More

We did not go for the mudslides, but to do some snorkeling and the water was so disgusting, we would never put our faces in that water.

This place is very kitschy and fun. We took a water taxi from Camana Bay over. We arrived early - about 10 AM. There was an abundance of seating and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The water was okay, but it isn't...More

Formerly one of our favorite spots on the island, Rum Point is becoming overwhelmed by it's own popularity. It's still spectacularly gorgeous, but lacks that relaxing vibe it once had. Go early and enjoy it before the mobs arrive or head out there on a...More

Captain Eddie took us to hang out in the bay in the boat tour. Lots of great local people hanging out in the water , on boats. Personal boats and charter tours. It was beautiful

We visited here this past week off a cruise when 3 cruise ships were in port. It was about an hour drive from the cruise pier and WORTH IT! We got there about 830am and pretty much had place to ourselves for a while. It...More

It's a long ways by road from the Marriott so I wouldn't taking a taxi or public bus. The taxi would be very expensive and the bus would take forever. Probably the best bet is to look into the water shuttle or rent a car... More

Try Andy's Car Rental or McCurley's they both will come pick you up & bring you back to the airport and have your car waiting for you at your destination. Also very reasonable.
