It's a beautiful drive to Starfish point. The beach is beautiful, but when we arrived there were only a few starfish to look at. Then boats with lots of people on them began to arrive. We left, just too crowded.

Since our last visit in 2004, this formerly magical spot is almost unrecognizable, and not in a good way. It used to be a pristine stretch of nearly deserted powder white sand beaches with hundreds of starfish resting in the shallows. Now the entire area...More

Did this in combination with Sting Ray City and Crystal Cave tour. So neat to see the star fish right there in the water.

We are so glad we made this a stopping point on our driving tour of the island. The water is shallow and calm, perfectly clear, and full of starfish. The children loved being able to hold them and take their photos. It was a busy...More

No we didn't book a tour. My husband and I just entered Star Fish Point. Anyone can visit for free. There was a tour being conducted further into the ocean.
