High End Shopping

Camana Bay is an upscale shopping center. Lot's of nice shops but expensive. Fun to visit and walk around. Nice view of the bay at the back of the complex.

If you want to pay a lot of money, then you have found the place. There were not enough shops either. The farmers/artisan market on Wednesday was a waste of time to me. The observation deck should be twice as tall to get any good views. But if you want to see a movie, then this is the only place... More

This is almost a small village in the middle of Georgetown....sort of. There are high end shops and a movie theater. I did not care for the shops given that most of the clothing I saw was not locally made. I did not see the point of purchasing items that I can get on Amazon for a fraction of the... More

Went on the flavor tour last night for date night and it was a great experience. You pay an all in price of US$89 - book online at camanabay.com and show up at 7 pm ready to eat and drink and meet new people. The hosts change from week to week but our host was Samantha who could not have... More

Overpriced outdoor mall. Wasn't impressed. A lot of walking without much reward. The mall looked bigger than I thought, but the upper levels are evidentially apartments.

I forgot my sunglasses at home so we walked up here the first day we got to Grand Cayman. Lots of nice, slightly more upscale shops. Several good looking restaurants as well. Nice little park/sitting area on the bay in the back part of the center and a couple of fun fountains that kids can walk through. Tons of building... More

Camana Bay is a good destination if you want to eat dinner and have a place to walk around at night (or lunch during the day). What we learned very quickly during our week on Seven Mile Beach, is that downtown Georgetown closes up when the cruise ships aren't in town. So, our first venture there was in search of... More

We happened to be passing through town and went check out the current hype, thinking something must have changed since our last run over (2 years ago went for the 'local farm market'). It's still the 'new' shopping mall - clothes, jewelry, art, stuff. I don't come to the island to shop or be in this kind of hub, but... More

Nobody believed in this, when Mr. Dart started this complex. Today, this is where everyone comes to walk around, to be seen, to see and to dine and shop. It is really a lovely village today. As a bonus, there are docks, so you can also arrive by boat. The ferry to Rum Point now starts from here, too. Definitely... More

Let's start with all the hype about this place. You'll hear it on the radio, you'll see it in every ad, you'll turn and see a sign about the place. They can't get the word out enough about this place when on the island! We saved this gem for our last night on the island. We thought we would pick... More
