Interesting part of Caymanian history. Historical interest while strolling the downtown area and shopping.

I purposely walked through this area while shopping in George Town. I like to learn more about areas I visit and had just left the National Museum a block or so away. The statues are well maintained. The fountain was not working the day I...More

This square in the center of town has a series of statues and memorials, none very interesting or beautiful. But still a nice place.

A lot of watch and T-Shirt stores geared towards the crowds of all those big Ocean Liners. Everybody was very friendly, everything was clean and organized ....but this was not our cup of tea if you understand what I mean. Unless you have the urge...More

Lots of plaques and some statuary but it was rather ordinary. The square was well kept, but one could breeze through it quickly. It could use more explainers and storytelling -- I think that the word is interpretation as to the people and events that...More

This square keeps expanding each year as new genres of heroes are recognized and honoured. You will enjoy seeing all of the names and getting to learn about their contribution to the island.

This square is located within a very short walk from the cruise pier. There are a number of statues and information about people who are important to George Town and the Cayman Islands. Unless you are a local it is not very interesting
