Stayed on Seven Mile Beach at the Marriott and would definitely do again. The sand is wonderful very soft and easy to walk on , we walked the length of the beach daily ( not 7 miles!) it's lined with many condos and only a few hotels . Only one area was busy and that's where the cruise ships bus... More

Only a $5 shared cab ride for the cruise ships. The beach is FREE! Bring a towel and lay on the soft sand for another $5 you can rent a chair and umbrella. Clean convenient bathroom and rinse shower. Food is available - local fare- jerk chicken, beer, drinks, beer, did I mention beer? Snorkeling, scuba, banana boat, skidoos all... More

Great snorkeling right off the beach...and miles of it. Clear water, great hotels and condos. Shopping and good restaurants near by and great people.

Yes, it is a beach with lots of hotels and condo buildings, but still when compared to Cancun it is very benign. The buildings are much smaller, with lots of small private mansions in between. The beach is not as wide, but with less people around it does not matter. The water is wonderful, clear and warm. We travelled the... More

Recently returned from being on Seven Mile Beach. The high ratings did not disappoint. The sand was white and nearly powder soft in most places. We walked the beach in either direction from The Marriott at least a couple of miles. The water is blue-green and the surf calm. It is shallow for quite a ways out, so perfect for... More

Our kids 15, 13 & 10 loved this. It was $15/per kid for an hour, but you can negotiate. Workers are very friendly and helpful. My husband and I sat on beach and watched, while enjoying drinks from Calico Jacks. This is a beach restaurant within walking distance.
