The wall is steep, nearly vertical, and seems to go down forever. It is quite an experience to go over it head first and "fly" like Superman. There is a good chance of encountering larger sea life here, such as sharks, eagle rays or turtles. Take the time to swim away from the wall to get an idea of how... More

Part of the famed Bloody Bay wall, this was our first introduction to the diving. Great vis, nice shallow part of the reef, and terrific deep blue water. Turtles, grouper and great diving.

We liked this dive because there was always something different just ahead. Turtles, nurse shark, anemone, fans, fish, corals and gobies.

The bow is moored in 18 feet of water, the stern hangs over the 6000' drop. Big stuff, small stuff, where do we begin ?? BTW, watched an octopus kill a channel crab at the lip of this wall.

We dove the Great Wall West in March of 2013. The wall starts in about 60-70 feet of water and drops to 6,000 feet. The coral and marine life are both healthy. Make sure you swim away from the wall at lease 30-40 feet and turn around to see and appreciate the magnitude of the experience.
