We watched a short video (about 7 minutes) about the mission of the Heritage House and the curator (I believe her name was Keino) took us on a tour. They had a great festival that week of pirates week.. The food was amazing and authentic. We learned how they make rope and weave the baskets.. Interesting place to visit

Nice place to stop and see displays of how islanders of the past used natural resources to create houses and tools. You will also find several selections of music produced by native islanders, along with other forms of art work. The Heritage House also offers several classes in subjects like thatching with Silver Palm leaves and cooking classic Caymanian dishes... More

We also went here with the same tour guide. It's a pleasant new building without a lot in it. We saw a video which gave some insight into island life. That was the only thing to do here. It seems like there is a lot of untapped opportunity to sell more local crafts and even just some quality postcards which... More

I really enjoyed this! I had a great tour guide - Keino who walked me through this site. I learnt alot about the history of the islands and items important to the people. I learnt quite a lot.
