Definitely worth the short drive or hike to the lighthouse. You can take the lighthouse road from Ashton Reid (the cutover road) and there's sufficient parking. It's worth taking some time to walk part of the lighthouse trail - you'll see lots of birds and great views.

Beautiful vistas. Well worth stopping to have a look. There is a hiking trail from the lighthouse along the bluff but it does not loop so keep that in mind if you decide to make the trek.

Best to go via the lighthouse route if you don't want to walk too much, as you can park right by the lighthouse and easily hike the whole bluff. We parked on the other side and climbed the stairs to peter's cave then hiked to the bluff but it's pretty overgrown. Real nice views.

Good sturdy shoes are a must for this walking. It's a beautiful walk along an ironshore beach to the cliff. Lots of birds to see. Be careful near the water as the waves may be unpredictable.

The Brac must be seen. Absolutely spectacular. There are places from which you can view it easily. It is the defining feature of Cayman Brac, and very different from the formations on the other islands.

while the lighthouse was smaller than I expected, It was the Boobies that were nesting on the cliffs that made this a excellent place

We toured around in our rental car and stopped at numerous sites on the beloved bracs or bluffs in Cayman Brac.

This amazing relic from earlier days when the earth was evolving and underground activity brought this to the surface is not to be missed on Cayman Brac. It is home to orchids, cactus, caves and the most unusual topography you might ever see. In addition it is home to one of the strongest vortex on earth.

You need to see the bluffs. Since Brac means bluffs hey you need to see them. The north east end of the island is the bluff. Go to the lighthouse for great overlooks of the bluffs.
