As a History teacher from England I’ve been to a fair few forts and castles, but this is easily one of the most impressive. The location is what makes it really, on cliffs above the coastline below. However, it has been well restored and you...More

In the real world I suppose this would only hit a 'Very Good' rating but because (and let's be honest) there is not an awful lot to visit on St Kitts - plus it was just so damn calm there that it made the experience...More

After quite a drive out to the fort let me say it is worth it. The views from this tall mount are just amazing. I got some great photos of the surrounding country side and the sea. Really a great stop, do not miss it....More

This is a well restored old fort with great views. I think the Spanish forts on Puerto Rico are more impressive. Well worth a visit.

This was amazing! The view and sense of history is remarkable! The many people who died and are buried there defending the island is astounding. The view is breathtaking and the area well preserved.

We stopped here during a taxi tour of the island. Great views and plenty of interesting history to investigate.

an interesting location to gain an insight of St Kitt's history of slavery and colonialism. The view is stunning and a great place for landscape photography.

Truthfully, there is not a whole lot to see on St Kitts and it doesn't take long to explore the island, but a visit to Brimstone Hill Fortress is a must. It is extremely well kept and the history of the fortification is interesting. As...More

A wonderful excursion to the fortress. The views were simply amazing. Give yourself time to explore. A stop at Romney manor on the way helps to complete a nice half day trip.

As part of a Grey's Island Excursion, we visited Brimstone Hill. Wow, what a fort. It's a hike to climb to the top but worth every step.

I would either take an excursion or get off the ship and at the end of the pier get a tour or taxi. The sit is far end of island and way up a hill, mountain, so give yourself enough time to get back to the ship. I would... More

I'm not sure where the bus stop is as we rented scooters, but if the stop is at the main road it is a long and very steep road. Also, even if you are dropped off where you pay it is still an effort to get to the top. If... More
