An interesting small display on Nelson.

Worth visiting if you are interested in the island's history and Nelson in particular. Opening hours were haphazard so worth just driving past and calling in if open.

This museum is not well signed and is up the hill, behind the hot springs and bath house hotel( derilict). We had trouble finding it! This museum has lots of information , well put together and is full of history of Nevis and Nelson and his wife. They get few visitors but there is a wealth of information here and you,should... This is an excellent museum two buildings along from the Bath House Hotel - near the Hot water Spring. It is in the tourist Nevis Map but I am sure many will never arrive having given up looking! It has much interesting and useful information - much more so than the Hamilton Museum.

This is a tiny museum dedicated to Nelson and some of the history of Nevis. A charming collection of memorabilia some of the displays do need updating but nevertheless well worth the visit.

I am now sure how we would have found this as it was tucked away up a narrow lane with no signage, but fortunately we were with a guide. Well worth a visit, lots of interesting pictures, pieces of furniture and well written historical facts well laid out.

Ok, so probably poor. It's a tiny museum that's really difficult to find, a good 20 minutes walk from Charlestown. The displays are decidedly amateurish, out of sequence and riddled with spelling mistakes. But, the staff are so friendly and enthusiastic it's impossible to rate the experience as poor, because it simply isn't. Is it worth the trek and the... More

We stopped in at the Nelson Museum last week. I am a collector of Nelsonia and this little museum that combines Nevis history with a collection of Nelsonia is quite sweet. It is small, but it deals very nicely with Nelson's life and his short time on Nevis where he meet his first wife Fanny Nisbet. If you like museums... More

My husband and I really liked this place! It was EC13 to go in. Fair enough it's a bit of a poorly presented mishmash but the bits on Nelson were fascinating to see in a place so important to him. Would be great if they could get some support to make it as good as possible.

Was not sure what to expect, the museum contained the history of Nelson when he was on the Island, the displays are not great, they lack information for the reader, the displays seem to be stretched to fill the large spaces. There is a small gift shopwithin the building.

Please note that the current photo shown for this museum is incorrect. The actual building which is about 15 minutes walk from Charleston, is a single story wooden building in a residential area and there is not anything very pretty about it. Unfortunately the museum contents are also about as notable as the building exterior. A few artifacts displayed poorly... More
