This has got to be the smallest "square" I have ever beheld. Thank heavens they made room for it, because it is such a cute part of Charlestown. It's shaded with large trees and the good people of Nevis were enjoying themselves on the benches...More

We were in Charlestown on Christmas Day. The town was absolutely dead! Nothing open and hardly anybody about. We wandered the town, including the Memorial Square. We enjoy architecture and history, so like to check out the buildings of any new place we visit. But...More

Nice square which is always busy with locals going about their business. Nice to sit and watch the world go by.

Pretty, well maintained center of the capital of Nevis. Very pretty decorated for the holiday season. On Friday nights it is very crowded and music fills the air. A fun stop in Charlestown.

Memorial Square is worth seeing if you are in Charlestown anyway, perhaps because you just got off the ferry from St. Kitts. This town square is not a world-class attraction, but it is the center of Charlestown, which is the capital of Nevis, and a...More
