This is a review of the private beach for the Mt. Irvine Bay Resort Hotel. That said, it's not a private beach per se, as anyone can use it - and lots do. The advantage of being a resident is that you get free loungers and umbrella. Non-residents have to pay for these but can bring their own chairs. There's... More

I loved the beach in Mount Irvine. It's great for swimming (within the life guard flags) good for surfing, has a bar and changing/showering/toilet area, has sun beds if you want them and isn't too crowded.

Mt Irvine, the most iconic surf spot in tobago and a place where the water is great. There surfing on one side of the bay and on the other side, the water is suitable for snorkeling.

If you want a beach that is not too busy, has great food, and if you enjoy snorkeling, this is the beach to go to. Snorkeling around the southwest end has lots to see around the coral.

Get the greatest catch of the day after a good swim. Beach bar available, great for surfing if the tide is right. Private beach huts are also available and great for a picnic!

Very beautiful situation with facilities, local bar, a couple of food stalls. Lots of surfers, didn't find the waves that big as other reviewers have said but guess it is weather dependent. Very friendly people both locals and other tourists. Went on my own but spent the afternoon in good, chilled company. Walked through the woods to the next beach... More
