Beautiful beach!

I loved this beach. Beautiful, soft, sand. Crystal clear water. Hardly anyone there. We got off the cruise ship at noon, rented a golf cart, drove straight there and had the beach... read more

We walked from the ship to the beach. We were trying to get to the other side of the island, but everyone kept directing us to the Governor's Beach. The beach was beautiful, and no one but us there. Snorkeling was bad, but I didn't go around the derelict ship. There were 3 stray dogs that followed us for a... More

As others have done; we rented a golf cart and made our way to the beach only to find a run down, abandoned area. The women's rest room was boarded up with other parts overgrown with vegetation and falling apart. The beach is nice and the shipwreck was a neat exploration attraction. I would not recommend paying for an excursion... More

I loved this beach. Beautiful, soft, sand. Crystal clear water. Hardly anyone there. We got off the cruise ship at noon, rented a golf cart, drove straight there and had the beach to ourselves for around 30 minutes before anyone else even got there. Even then it never got crowded. Beach was free. Didn't see any place around to buy... More

*Just a note. This beach is located on Grand Turk yet is unsearchable under Grand Turk here on tripadvisor. Please fix this tripadvisor so those staying on Grand Turk and seaching under 'things to do' or 'beaches' will know about this AMAZING beach! So many amazing things to say about this beach. Want to feel like a character in a... More

Beautifull Sand, away from the Crowd. Very close to Margaritta's village if you come by boat. If you stay on the Island there is a good parking spot. This is a perfect spot for kids also and the the water does not goes depth too quickly.

There is a beached ship, the Mega One Triton, that is full of rust and sealife. Locals climb up on it and jump off but I was not that brave. I would recommend staying off the ship but if you do, you should wear protective shoes and gloves to avoid any rust related injuries. The sea life around the ship... More

We came for a day visit to Governors Beach by renting a golf cart. It's right down the street from the cruise terminal and super easy to find. Although the beach does not have any food or drinks there (there use to be and the shack are still there), it does have restrooms and several showers and foot washing stations.... More

Turks & Caicos was the last stop on our cruise and I read about "Governors beach" on a tripadvisor forum. If you do not want to deal with crowds, noise and tons of people on the beach then you may want to experience the beauty of Governors beach. You can either take a cab which will charge you about $5... More

This was one of the places the Tourist Information Center suggested us to visit. We visited this beach on our way from Cruise ship dock. This is such a beautiful beach and no people at all when we went there. It wasn't hard to find as there were beach access signs on the side of the road. I would definitely... More

Grand Turk was the last stop on my Cruise Due to trip advisor decided to take advantage of this beach rather that the one right off the pier. Taxi ride was $5 per person one way. Once we arrived at the beach is was truly secluded with my family being the only people at this beach. There were two local... More
