Great walking beach

Great to walk barefoot on the beach. Water is clear and blue, as it is on all of the beaches in Grand Turk.

There was a lot of waves on the day we visited so I was unable to snorkel. The water was stirred up too much. Chairs are available for rent. The beach access was free. The cost for the taxi was $8.00 per person each way.

Our dive boat did a surface interval on Pillory Beach. It is a beautiful beach like most beaches on Grand Turk. The sand is soft and the water is crystal clear. I had read a lot on Trip Advisor about Pillory Beach and it lived up to the reviews.

This was recommended when we asked a taxi driver. Taxi fare was cheap.. Beautiful resort, geared to divers. They boast the "Third largest reef in the world"... However much for everyone.. Lay back and relax or go horseback riding, snorkeling or just swimming/sunning...

Our favourite experiences where in the morning! We would run into the water first thing every morning while we stayed on Pillory beach. then got our started. Staying at the Reef House made it so accessible. I would recommend sand slippers, there are lots of rocks, sea urchin, crab and right now lobsters. and right now.

Me and my wife visited this beach during our recent stay at Grand Turk last month. The beach is fantastic, with a marvelous view of the surroundings. There is an hotel standing on the beach, but I'm not sure if visitors to the beach only can, for instance, buy a drink at the bar, as we didn't try. Anyway, my... More

This beach is at the Bohio dive resort. You feel as if you are on your own private beach. Skip the beach at the cruise ship port and take an $8 cab ride here instead- well worth it for the privacy and view.

Grand Turk is surrounded by wonderful beaches with many access roads! We snorkeled at Pillory Beach and soon realized there wasn't much to see...a big disappointment. Overall, this beach is no different than many of the other local beaches you can access freely. It certainly is not worth paying a premium to utilize.

Excellent private beach. There were less than 50 other people on the beach the day we visited. You can also rent chairs, snorkeling equipment, and other beach necessities for cheap!
