Pillory is nice, but if you bike further north via the road near the hospital, you will find a more quiet and secluded beach to just be quiet or watch the sunset.

we canvassed the entire island. The Pillory beach was pretty much where we stayed and yes we will be back.

This is one of the most secluded pristine beaches, much like island years before the big box hotels arrived in Cabo in Mexico , etc. Uninterrupted walking will keep you tranquil and aware of how lucky we are to be here.

The beach is long with white sand like powder. It's a perfect place to enjoy sun, clear water and beach. Accessible from the cruise pier.

There is a bus. Cost is $10/per person. I'm not sure how much a taco would be but you can probably negotiate since the bus is their competition. Chairs are extra...$5/per chair. Food was great. Conch, shrimp, chicken... More
