Provo Ponies is a small riding stable located on the southeast end of the island of Providenciales. We do two guided rides a day, morning ride at 9:30am and an afternoon ride at 3:30pm during winter hours, 4:30 during the summer. We can take all experience levels from 7 years old and up (if they are younger they must be experienced riders). There is an extra charge if someone must be led. Everyone rides their own horse or pony, no double riding. We have a 250 pound weight limit. Groups are never more than 12 riders. Private rides are available for an additional fee. Helmets are available and are required for children 17 and under. We ride along quiet dirt roads and trails to Long Bay Beach, a 4 mile long beach. We do our best not to do nose to tail type rides, and more experienced riders are given the chance to trot or canter along the beach depending on the tides. The shallow waters of the Caicos Banks off Long Bay make it an ideal place to take your horse into the ocean. You can book a one hour ride or a 90 minute ride. We can arrange for transportation to and from your hotel.Reservations are required. A Visa or Mastercard number is required for all reservations, as well as weights and experience levels of all riders in your group so that we can properly assign horses to riders. We are a fully insured and licensed business in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

My husband and I were in Provos in May and did this outing as part of an award trip. It was just the two of us on our ride and we loved it. It was not too hot because 90% of the ride was in the ocean. Clear blue water and breezy. Our guide was Kelly and she was fantastic.... More

My horse's name was Turtle and he is a gentle giant. Being somewhat skiddish of horses the staff matched me with a perfect partner. The staff is amazing and what made this even more special is that these our beautiful rescue horses. If you do one thing while visiting the beautiful island we would absolutely recommend Provo Ponies.

This place is great and was the highlight of our stay on the island - I can't say enough about the quality of the instructors at Provo Ponies. They love the horses so much and know each of them so well. They make sure the fit the rider with the right horse. Caroline and Camaro were our guides and they... More

I love that Provo Ponies started by rescuing these horses and giving them a new life. The staff is passionate about their 4 legged family and it shows! They know their personalities well and can recommend the right one based on your riding ability, which was comforting. Tina took me and my husband out for a private ride and it... More

We had heard about this so booked well in advance and this was a highlight of our holiday. We were staying at Beaches and they ordered a car to pick us up and take back. My daughters are experienced riders and I've never been on a horse before. I was fixed up with Turtle a large 18+ hand gentle giant... More

We arrived at the stable and you knew that the horses were well cared for and the staff were both friendly and very experienced. We were all placed on the appropriate horse my horse was named Mango and my girl friend Ruby. We headed to beach to ride in the water. What an experience, the horses just love the water... More

This was the third time that my daughter and I went to Provo Ponies. It was another amazing experience. The animal are well kept, the staff is very friendly and the ride is a lot of fun. The staff remembered us and it was great to talk with them as we were riding our horses. I would highly recommend.

On our 5th visit to Provo we finally were able to do Provo Ponies :) Our kids have always been too young in the past, so we jumped at the chance as soon as one was old enough. Now we can't stop talking about the experience. We were both first time riders and the staff was exceptionally helpful. They gave... More

It was so easy to book our ride and while it we ultimately didn't get to go because of weather, Provo Ponies tried hard to get us in - it was greatly appreciated! We will definitely book a ride when we are in Turks the next time!

This was the second year in a row riding the Provo ponies and I just love it. I even got the same horse I had last year, Clyde. We do the morning ride as it tends to be cooler. There were nine in my group plus another 3 from another. The friends Provo Ponies cat was there again to greet... More
