Nice place to visit. Very interesting with beautiful views of the harbor. Enjoyed learning the history of the island. Admission was only 3.00 and worth it. Not crowded at all.

My brother and I took the self guided tour through Ft. Christiansvaern recently located at the far eastern point of the boardwalk. We moved about silently through each exhibit, deep in our own thoughts. The slave trade of long ago left many scars on this...More

Visited Fort Christiansvaern and enjoyed the history of the Fort and this island. A little sad that some of the facts here made up our history. Overall good visit and worth spending time at. The view from top of the Fort towards the Island is...More

The fort is beautifully maintained and well worth the minimal $3 entrance fee. Beautiful ocean views and nice display of period living, including officers quarters and prison cells. Lots of history-a great way to educate you on St. Croix history. Be aware if you decide...More

The prime structure, being pretty well maintained, at the Christiansted Historic Site. Great views of the harbor and it's entry for ships/boats. And in less than an hour you can learn a lot of history. Parking and restrooms. Lawn with shaded benches outside.

Brought our family there to walk around. Interesting and a pretty spot. Not quite enough for the kids to see and do, but the adults loved it.

I always enjoy going to the fort! I seem to learn something new every time. I also love to take pictures there! The views are amazing and the fort itself is great for photos.

This was another place that for years I passed by without stopping. Now, with Senior National Park Pass in hand, the self-tour was interesting. Christopher Columbus and Hamilton both came here. If you are a history nut this is a place you. It is not...More

Bring a flashlight, all areas are accessible. Nice Christiansted harbor view from up top, Some sad memories of the days of slave trade. Must do, short walk from the harbor.

A cost is listed at the entrance, but at the time we were there no one was working! I don't remember how much.

Yes, the story is in the Fort, and there is information also on a wall in the customs building across the street, where the information booth is. Quite an interesting story of young Alexander Hamilton! Much of the story... More
