Fun round

First time playing here. Very scenic! Some holes were challenging for me. It was a little dry but that is to be expected there. Very enjoyable experience

Played 2 rounds last week while staying at the Buccaneer. You can't beat the views. They are amazing. You'll see iguanas and the occasional frog and plenty of birds. The course is hilly and the fairways and greens are hard and dry. No surprise as it doesn't really rain very much. It's a pretty easy going atmosphere. No tee times.... More

A science golf course, rather short holes but very relaxing and fun to play. Also a good possibility to make a very local contact to the iguanas at one hole.

I played this course almost every weekend from mid 2004 til we left the island end of 2011. Is only 5620 yards from back tees which I always played. Very dry from Feb thru April. Greenest in the summer and autumn when it is rainier. Lots of birds and iguanas on the course for the nature lover. Need to be... More

There are some nice views on the course but overall a disappointment. It is cart path only and a very dry brown course. The traps are a mix of sand and rocks and many traps have been let go and have turned into a mix of grass and dirt. Because of the lack of water it is very brown grass... More

My husband is writing this review as I don't golf. Your experience at the Buccaneer begins with Kenny and the staff at the pro shop and tiny bar. Kenny makes you feel like an old friend. They are working on getting more food and just added a beverage cart. The Caribbean views, on 4 or 5 holes, NO KIDDING are... More

A scenic golf course - we were staying at Villa Madeline on the East End so very convenient. My husband and son played 18 holes - they were able to rent clubs and were not charged the non-resort fee. I was charged $4 to have access to the beach and chairs. I had a delightful day at Mermaid Beach while... More

My husband played a round of golf while I spent a few hours on Mermaid Beach with my boys. My husband said he would give this a three compared to the courses he typically plays in the US, given the course conditions (very dry!). However, it was well-maintained. He was able to play by himself and finished in just over... More

I had a choice of either carambola GC OR BUCCANNEER GC- I went with the latter. Very enjoyable course; spectacular ocean views on hole 2 and on back nine. A well played well designed course with challenging lies, mixes of dogleg rights/lefts, just a fun experience. My putting suffered a bit as the greens were super fast! Very dry.The fairways... More
