The Danish School

Much of Frederiksted's built heritage is in a sad condition. The old Danish School is masterfully renovated. Beautiful.

While touring with Freedom City Cycles we stopped at this school. I wish I had taken a picture because it was restored and looks beautiful. It isn't much of an attraction, but as someone else said, if you are into the history of places, this is a significant stop.

What a beautiful danish architecture! The excellent wrought iron staircases rising from each end of the building. This pearl has to be seen from the inside courtyard, not from Hospital street! The upstairs exterior balcony faces the sea and more of other of the houses in town. The newly restored old danish building is now used as govermental offices.
