I'd really only recommend stopping here if you find yourself with a day and not much to do. The view is nice, but you can find better. Big shop with lots of typical touristy stuff.

We went on locals' night, Wednesday, the ride to the top in the cable car is only $5 and the food and drinks at the top were great... plus there's live music. It's a great time for adults, young people and families!

We recently stopped here with our cruise. Mountain Top has unbelievable views - you will get amazing photos! You can see all the surrounding islands and it overlooks Magen's Bay. I also enjoyed the shopping - lots to pick from! I purchased a really nice...More

April 2016...This is a nice, remote shopping spot. It had a great variety of souvenirs. The prices were very reasonable too. Its definitely set up for the tourist.

It's a great view but mainly a souvenir shop. They say they have the best banana daiquiri, not so hard much better at different places

I'll start this off by saying that the prices are phenomenal, they have some pretty cool sales, and the banana daiquiris are great. The cashier, I believe her name is Christina, is the sweetest, most helpful person there (it seemed like if you asked anyone...More

We visited on our way to airport at the end of our trip to St. John. We had a rental car so the trip up to the top was pretty adventurous. We saw lots of tour buses so I am sure there is a way...More

We stumbled on this place almost by accident. We made a wrong turn and ended up taking the "scenic" way up the mountain. The drive was a bit scary at times up and down the mountain. Quite the adventure! View from the top was amazing....More

While the drive to Mountaintop is hairy and crazy (if you rented a car instead of taking a taxi), once you get to the top you are in for a huge surprise!! The store itself is HUMONGOUS and you can find just about anything there...More

Around $10 per per, if you can get in on a group, more like $20 if you just want a straight up taxi!

If you enjoy visiting out of the way places the people who live on the island frequent then, yes, rent. If you only want the tourist stuff then, no. Cabs will get you there. Our daughter lives there, so there are many... More

We were just here over Easter Sunday and they had some gel that helped one of the boys knee pain. Does anybody know what it is called? We can't find the brochure and didn't buy any while we were there. The tent was set up outside the entrance.

by any chance was it a nutmeg oil? I purchased some oil in Grenada and it has inflamatory benefits. If that is what it is you may want to check out if you can find something on Amazon.
