Levi, the museum curator, made the building come alive with his wonderful talk about it's history. We highly recommend stopping here for a tour!

Always like to visit historic places. This one is easily reached from town or the cruise ship port. Take care you don't go there when they're closed for a couple of hours over lunch.

Was so happy to have taken the tour with Levi. Very informative & interesting on the history of the area & Fort that was then turned into a prison. Well worth the $10.00

Fort tour was very informative due mostly to our tour guide Levi. Levi brought the old fort to life in what would have been a quick walk through without Levi giving us the history of every room - thanks Levi!

but it has been closed for renovations for quite some time - it looks like the renovations were started before the hurricane but that the hurricane did some damage to the surrounding park and area. I would certainly make sure to visit this when it...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this fort. Museum curator was our guided tour, he was a great story teller and held our interest for 2 hours. Worth the stop to learn about history. The historic landmark is a Irma and Maria survior.

This fort it’s located in downtown, around 10 minutes by taxi from the harbour. When we arrived was closed but we took some pictures. And one crazy thing: you will see chickens around the fort and others streets but I don’t know why.
