Every type store imaginable especially jewelry. Most stores have people on the sidewalks to try to entice you to go inside. Once inside the high pressure sales pitch is on. I preferred to shop at some of the low profile shops, just off main street.

We had a great experience at this shop! Excellent service and quality! Much better than Diamonds International! Owner helped us select the perfect diamond.

If that's your thing then this is the place to go to apparently, I wouldn't know if it was genuine stuff or not but business is certainly thriving there - lots of hawkers trying to lure into other shops - avoid when there are a few ships in as it gets crazy!

Many things in downtown Charlotte Amalie to shop for. Very quaint and fun to stroll along the shops. A must do when in St. Thomas. You will have fun visiting all the nooks and crannies down the allies. So much to look at off the beaten path.

Regardless of what you've read, the buildings on Main Street are all historic. They're converted warehouses from the days when the waterfront reached them (before Veteran's drive was artificially constructed). The walls range from one to two feet thick. Are there stores you see at every Caribbean port? Of course. But skip those stores, there are bargains to be had... More

I wish there was more stores/restaurants and that there was more variety. It looks pretty being off the shore and never felt unsafe walking around.

All jewelry needs fulfilled here. Lots of shops and jewlery. A shoppers paradise. It's a few blocks radius that is near the water. Fun for all.

Typical street that is at every Caribbean island that has a cruise ship stop with numerous gift and jewelry stores. That being said if you are there you have to walk it. There are some very nice ally's to walk down and we found some good bars and restaurants.

I didn't get to spend much time in the town. I definitely want to go back and spend more time walking around. My sister and I shopped in the open air market for some souvenirs. We went to Little Switzerland and bought St. Thomas Alex & Ani bracelets.
