Of course if you're on a cruise ship they're going to tell you to go here. But if you're just visiting the island a lot of times you have to cut through this area to get to different locations in Midtown. It was very irritating...More

The island is a duty free haven so it is expected that there will be stores a plenty - and we weren't disappointed. If you are into jewelry and watches it's the place to head to.

Charlotte Amalie is definitely ‘back in business’ after the devastating hurricane season. Lots of repair, building and painting happening. Main Street is all open and very “shoppable”. There is definitely still evidence of the storm but nothing to stop people from visiting.

Nice area within walking distance of the cruise terminal (or you can take a taxi). worth the stop, however make sure to explore the smaller shops down the side streets.

Don't hesitate. Just go. It's safe. It's fun. It's like walking 300-years straight into the past. Lots of jewelry stores and high end luxury stuff. When you get to the west end, close to the historic Bank of St. Thomas building, someone may offer to...More

I am not able to answer that question. I did visit several jewelry stores on the Island, but do not remember addresses. Just type in the name of the Jewelry store and you should be able to get that information.
