Distinguishing The Pirates Chest from similar stores is its proprietor, Sean. Sean is an expert numismatist in the Caribbean specializing in ancient and shipwreck coins. His vast knowledge of history, travels of his inventory, adventures on high seas and pirate stories makes a trip to The Pirates Chest a Caribbean must. He carries coins from at least 15 different treasure shipwrecks from around the world. Who can return to your hum-drum normal life without an authentic Caribbean pirate coin hanging from their neck? The Pirates Chest also carries beautiful Larimar jewelry, Caribbean cook books, shirts, rum cakes, spices, locally made ceramics, souvenirs, and more.

Treasures galore and the owner is a fantastic story teller. I have read a few books about under water exploring and the owner not only knew of the books but also knew the divers that wrote them.

Such a fun place to walk through. So many awesome things for the pirate at heart. We enjoyed seeing the authentic things and the trinkets. People were so nice there.
