The beach was extremely calm and lots of sand. There were trees for those seeking shade. There were a fair amount of people present so we did not get a picnic table but they are present. The real treat of this beach is the wildlife. We watched as multiple pelicans dived right in front of us for fish it was... More

A great beach, a bit of a step to water access. Palm trees and sea grapes for shade. Small parking lot and along one side of road, with toilet. A good beach for viewing fish on the far right side but quite a swim. Often view turtles in the middle. Can be busy.

Francis Bay is a white sand big beach with peaceful water. Easy snorkeling by the rocky ends of the beaches. Great place to paddle board and swim. Nice shade areas and easy walk from parking.

Francis beach is accessible by car since they improved the road. This is a beautiful spot with shade. We love the right hand side to watch the pelicans. We also snorkel the right side and this trip saw turtles, rays, and the elusive octopus! Highly recommend this spot.

This isn't a review of the beach, but of the National Park's bird watching hike. We took a taxi out this way for an early morning hike, seems like 7:30 am was start time. We were the only people besides the ranger that showed up. Make arrangements for a taxi to pick you up after. Cell phone connection wasn't great.... More

My family with teens loved this beach. There is plenty of shade to relax and the critters in the water are so much fun to see! We saw rays, turtles, an octopus and lots of other fish. There is something for everyone here, even for those who don't swim...my husband even got in the water to wade around and see... More

Snorkeling here is ok but the beach has a nice sandy area as well as rocky snorkel area. Water was a little less clear then other beaches but think the surf was out of the north so all the north beaches were churned up a the time. Def a beautiful place to hang out. We did the little nature hike... More

This beach is probably one of the harder ones to get to. It is just past the Greater and Lesser Maho beaches and my driver stated that it was quite a hike to get to the beach. I think that is what is the charm for most people. However if I want to go to the beach I want it... More
