We saw at least 10 different turtles snorkeling on Francis Bay and a wide variety of fish (especially along the rocks on the right as looking at the water)

This place is so beautiful, my daughter said it looked like it was green-screened in behind me. We loved this beach because it was paradise with very few people. If you are looking for a truly tropical beach that you can enjoy without feeling squished...More

Besides Maho bay, this was our second favorite beach in St John. It is calm and never crowded. We saw our first sea turtle at this beach. There is plenty of shade from trees. Not a whole lot of parking though.

We were on the lookout for turtles but were unlucky unfortunately. A bit off the beaten track but as beautiful as a postcard. It is impossible not to recommend it!

We love Francis Bay because of its blue green water, white sand, and sea turtles which you can often see while swimming or snorkeling. The fish and coral are beautiful. Watch out for the feral chickens : they are pesty, but not dangerous. You will...More

We enjoyed going to Francis Bay when all we wanted to do was lounge around on our floats or cool our jets in our beach chairs under a shade tree. Not much for snorkeling, as the white sand bottom here offers no habitat for critters...More
