Snorkeling was just average but the beach was lovely and no one was there. I would definitely recommend for a quieter experience.

We enjoyed the beaches on the Llindt Point Trail on our last visit to St. John, and were glad to return. We parked free with a permit obtained at the visitor's center, then walked the trail to Salomon. We recommend good shoes (hiking, trail, or...More

When we were there, people did come to beach from a different trail and they said it was off the road. You will have to ask a local. Sorry I'm not much help!
