We stayed at Caneel Bay Resort in Cottage 7A. The beaches are amazing! The rooms are not high raise, but blend into nature. Seven amazing beaches, Scotts, Hawknest and Paradise are my favs.

It is supposed to be adult only but that was not always the case. Has a beach bar serving drinks and food. Spent most of our time there. Most diverse snorkeling. It's like a postcard.

A beautiful long beach that is very private. We saw turtles and rays every time we swam here and even saw a barracuda one day! This beach is quiet, never too busy, and with plenty of shade. Specatcular!

This is the area I would choose to stay. Beach is lovely, snorkeling really terrific, sunsets are lovely, and proximity to food is excellent.

This was our favorite beach at Caneel Bay. The water was crystal clear and calm. Watched for turtles coming up to breath the 3 days we were there. Donkeys, birds, fish and pelicans also shared the beach with us! Bar and food service was convenient...More

You can visit, but you can't use the resort's chairs. And you have to pay to park at Caneel Bay if you are not staying there. I think it's $20 to park. There are so many wonderful beaches on St. John that you won't miss... More
