My stubborn husband wanted to go snorkeling. Except it was a high tide. Being from the islands myself, I knew not to mess too much with high tide. The reef looked manageable. But looks can be deceiving. Long story short, hubby ventured too far out,...More

This is an amazingly beautiful beach. It doesn't feel crowded at all, and the nearby conch shack allow for great beach front snacks. The water is shallow for the first few metres in, so you don't have to worry if you're not a strong swimmer....More

A great beach that has coral reefs close to the shore that can be a treasure trove for snorkelling. We snorkelled very close to the sands and were able to see a variety of fishes. Beautiful water and good sand. The Nirvana beach bar serves...More

We took a number 10 out, and a 12A back. A dollar fifty each way. Nice beach, down a hill off West Bay. Some nice houses nearby, one overlooking the beach. Had a bar and restrooms. Plenty of parking. Watch your footing when on the...More

A hidden treasure known to the locals. Best place to unwind and get away from the tourist spots in the area.

You can be on the busy bits or get away from everyone on this beach...it's your choice and it is a lovely one.

I would like to propose to my gf on Love Beach in May. We will be staying on Cable Beach so I guess a taxi can get us there? Any romantic recommendations?

Yes, Taxi can get you there and back. Not cheap.
