Description:

Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas is Nassau's leading full service dive centre....

Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas is Nassau's leading full service dive centre. Originally opened in 1979, the operation has grown to a fleet of nine dive vessels, with five of the boats over 40 feet in length. Located on the Southwest side of Nassau/New Providence Island, Stuart Cove's is in the ideal location to take advantage of the most diverse diving the Bahamas has to offer. Walls, reefs, wrecks and sharks! There something for everyone from beginner divers to experts. Holiday travelers who have never been diving before will enjoy the 3-hour "Learn To Dive Program". In this program guests will be introduced to the equipment used in the sport of diving in a swimming pool, receive an introduction into the basics of diving, and then complete their first ocean dive. All of this takes place under the supervision of a professional dive instructor. 2-tank dive trips are offered both moring and afternoon with 2-tank Shark dives offered every afternoon. Night dives are available on selected evenings with a minimum of 6 guests. Dive sites encompass steep vertical walls that plummet to 6,000 feet of depth, shallow tropical reefs, 13 different locations containing ship or airplane wrecks, and numerous locations that were used as underwater movie sets for feature films. The feature activities at Stuart Cove's for our divers is our "Extreme Shark Adventure". The Shark Adventure program is a 2-tank dive trip that takes divers on an underwater encounter with Caribbean Reef Sharks. On the first dive divers participate in a "free swim" with the sharks along a beautiful wall. On the second dive, the group forms a semi-circle on the 40-foot bottom and watch while a professional shark feeder enters the water with a box of bait. Upon reaching the bottom, the feeder begins feeding the sharks with the aid of a pole spear. To say the sharks come close to the divers is an understatement - they are everywhere! However, Stuart Cove's is not exclusively about diving. It's about sharing the underwater world with as many people as possible. Have a non-diving buddy? We have snorkel dedicated trips that take guests to a variety of shallow reef sites and even visits the sharks weather permitting. Want something more exciting? How about our personal submarines? SUB Bahamas takes adventurers on a trip around a shallow reef and allows them to snorkel as well on a custom boat.

This has been the most exhilarating dive i have been on so far. Very fun and cool to dive with sharks. I have never been scared of sharks, and wasn't expecting this to be that exciting. But, when you are actually in there with hundreds of sharks in clear water, its actually pretty dang exciting. I would definitely like to... More

I had never done any scuba diving before. Stuart Cove is about 35 to 40 minutes in a bus from Nassau. They pick you up in their own buses. It is well worth the trip as the service and experience was brilliant. One of my companions had a small panic attack once she was in the water and about to... More

The shark dive was great! Exceeded my expectations. Daniel, Andre and Joel are awesome. Very professional and knowledgeable. They explained everything well. They were respectful to everyone there and to the sea life and nature. They take great pictures and video. They allow you to take your own as well. Their rental gear was in good shape, including wet suits.... More

My wife and youngest did the snorkeling and shark dive and they loved it. Myself and two oldest (12 & 14) did two wreck dives (one was steel forest) which was great but we had just got our PADI and the depth was about 80 ft which was exciting. Pick up and drop off from hotel.

Visited Stuart Cove's after first diving with them 2years ago. My partner did his 4 Padi open water dives after completing the pool and knowledge sections at home. Nice staff, boats and equipment (reg and BCD) - unfortunately we visited just after the hurricane so visibility not as great as it was before, but still fantastic shark dive. Only wish... More

I booked a two tank dive trip at Stuarts Cove from my cruise ship in June 2016. Stuarts cove will pick you up in small buses no matter where you are on the island of Nassau. This is a really nice bonus if you are staying in a hotel as transportation is not always included with your diving. Cruise ship... More

Stuart Cove's is one of my favorite places to dive! This time I also got the opportunity to meet Stuart himself and what a friendly man. With all the people getting on and off the boats he took the time to chat about diving and giving me the opportunity to let him know what a great place he has along... More

Wife and I booked the morning snorkel trip. Bus picked us up promptly at 8:30 and we were on the boat leaving the dock about 930. Boat captain went over safety rules/procedures and we were on our way. We went to 3 different sites on one trip. The first two sites were both shallow reefs with excellent visibility and tons...
