entry to the fort is $3.50 pp. This tour will take about 15 minutes. Fort was never really used and is very small. Cool cannon replicas but that's about it.

The fort is ok, the queens steps were better. Tour guide was nice. There is a market out front of this fort as well. Fort Charlotte was better.

Easy little side trip from the cruise ship, with a nice view of the town, they have a small charge to enter and this fort was built to protect the town from pirates ,back in the day. You can also check out the Queen's staircase while...More

We went to the Queens Staircase and this castle is at the top. You have to pay to get inside and look out from the roof. There is also a nice view from the surrounding grounds. Close by are straw market vendors selling their individual...More

You can see most of Nassau from this vantage point. Vendors selling their wares right outside of the fort ... Queen's staircase nearby.

This fort is not as impressive as Fort Charlotte, and its a lot smaller. If you don't take a tour and choose to walk it on your own from down town be sure to wear sneakers and be in reasonable shape... It's all uphill and...More

Small but very interesting. Great view. Takes about 5 mins, cost was $3 each. Beware fake tour guides, similar at Queens Staircase.

Not really much to see here. On a self guided tour you can be in and out in 10 mins max. That's with reading all signs and taking necessary photos. The tour guide races through a prescripted, memorized blurb and doesn't take questions for about...More

A small stronghold at the top of the Queen's Staircase, the fort's most distinctive feature is its shape. There is not too much to see inside, but it has a commanding view of Nassau. The walls are incredibly thick and the cannons are interesting if...More

Yes, there is a fee to get in. I recommend bringing small bills and small coins. They will give you change back but I their currency.
