Beautiful place and definitely something to see but it is mostly tourists. If you want a genuine Icelandic experience, go to one of the many public outdoor swimming pools that are heated and open all year-round and are far more affordable.

We had fun in the water, but the food area was wet and sticky. The food was very basic. Everything on the island was extremely expensive. We opted for the food ticket but didn't want to eat the food after all the flies kept getting...More

We were only here for a short time as a stop on our cruise, but I thoroughly enjoyed the dolphin excursion.

A short ferry trip to the Island from our ship, the ferry trip itself was lots of fun with the crew cranking up the music & dancing, doing Congo lines etc... We found there's plenty to do if that's what you want. Or just laze...More

Highly recommend. Spend the day, swim or do an encounter - just a short ferry from paradise island. Cabana serves drinks. Sip relax and enjoy on a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear blue green water. Dolphin Trainer kevin is the best!!!!!

I selected this excursion because the price was reasonable for a family of four. The boat ride over was pleasant enough. I went on the same excursion in 2009 and the 30 minute trip over was narrated by a tour guide but not this time....More

How much does lunch cost on the island? (It's not included with our excursion). Does the lunch area take credit cards, or should we bring cash?

Hi there - if you are concerned about being able to move around with a stroller the entire island is accessible for wheels either by dock or paths made in the sand. People take strollers to the island without a problem!

If we do the dolphin trainer 5 hour excursion, are video and photographers around as much as they are during the other shorter encounters? The description didn't mention video or photographers for the trainer session. Does anyone know? Thanks

Hi there. For the Trainer for the Day program you will take a photo with the dolphins that you will get to take home, however there are not photographers following you on the program the entire day.
