Broken glass on the beach! You can't beat a free beach, and it's just a short walk from the cruise port. The water is beautiful, but there was a good bit of broken glass. It's unkempt to be such a crowded tourist spot. The workers...More

I have to say that this beach is better than Cabbage Beach by a long shot. You'll need to take a cab to get to Cabbage Beach and it is far less amenable. Junkanoo has restaurants, bars, and restrooms right on the beach. Plus you...More

This beach is crowded, dirty and the water smells from the cruise ships. The sand is covered in litter and cigarette butts. Avoid at all costs.

We did not spend time here but we did pass right next to it on the bus just before downtown Nassau and it looked might cool. Packed with people, bars, restaurants, and a great beach with volleyball nets and lots of people watching!

Public beach, crowded even in off season. Gave it a try as our usual beach is no longer public access. Kids enjoyed it but, too close to the cruise ships for my liking. Too many peddlers.

Nice beach to walk, wade or swim...close to shops and the bus line. Sometimes musicians busking along the side walk.

This is a beach close to the road with many local Bahamian food shacks. At 5pm on a Tuesday all were closed except for one bar. You can walk by the beach and the peer and look at the big cruise boats ! Nice place...More
